Our Korean driving school at Gwanak Station
We are at 599 Anyang-ro in Manan-gu, Anyang, about five minutes on foot from Gwanak Station Exit 1 on Line 1. The whole Korean licence course is taught in English, and both practical tests are conducted on site — the skills test on Tuesday and Friday at 11:00 and Saturday at 14:00, and the road test Monday to Saturday between 09:00 and 16:00. Reception is open 09:00 to 18:00 and practice runs to 20:00, every day of the year.

Gwanak Station sits on Line 1 in Manan-gu, Anyang. Take Exit 1 — not Exit 2, which puts you on the wrong side of the tracks and adds ten minutes.

Who studies at our Korean driving school near Gwanak
Anyang and Gwanak-gu residents
Manan-gu, Dongan-gu, Seoksu, Bakdal and the Gwanak-gu side of the boundary. For most of these addresses we are a fifteen-minute journey rather than an hour.

From the south

Whichever direction you come from, check the destination on the train. South of Guro, Line 1 splits toward Incheon and toward Cheonan — Gwanak is on the Cheonan side.

Korean licence course prices at our Gwanak driving school
Class 2 Regular is the licence most people want. Road practice hours are for those who already hold a licence.
All prices include 10% VAT. Three-month interest-free card instalments available.
Examination fees are 55,000 KRW each for the skills test and the road test.
Living nearby lets you spread practical hours over a fortnight rather than stacking them, which usually produces better driving.

Because the skills test and the road test are conducted at our own site, the written test is the only part of the process that happens at a government facility. You are generally free to use whichever driver's licence examination centre suits your week.
Seoul's four centres — Gangnam, Gangseo, Dobong and Seobu — all offer the written test in English, as do the regional centres in Gyeonggi and Incheon. Ask us at registration and we will suggest the easiest one from your address.
