We are in Anyang, five minutes from Gwanak Station on Line 1, and about an hour from Gangnam by subway — either Line 2 to Sadang, Line 4 to Geumjeong, then Line 1, or Line 2 to Sindorim and Line 1 from there. The entire Korean licence course is taught in English: three hours of Saturday theory, four hours of course practice and six hours of road driving. Class 2 Regular is 765,000 KRW for the programme and around 875,000 KRW in total, taking roughly ten days across four or five visits.

How to reach our Korean driving school from Gangnam
We are in Anyang, five minutes on foot from Gwanak Station on Line 1. There are two sensible routes from Gangnam and they take about the same time.
Via Sadang — usually the better one
Line 2 from Gangnam to Sadang
Change to Line 4, southbound, to Geumjeong
Change to Line 1, toward Cheonan or Sinchang, to Gwanak

One transfer instead of two, but a longer Line 2 leg. If you are already west of Gangnam Station, this wins.
Check the Line 1 direction carefully. South of Guro the line splits toward Incheon and toward Cheonan. Gwanak is on the Cheonan branch — an Incheon-bound train will not stop there.

Both routes come out at roughly an hour door to door, depending on where in Gangnam you start and how the transfers land. Check Naver Map or KakaoMap on the day — they are considerably more reliable than Google Maps for Korean transit.

Gangnam examination centre is the obvious choice
The written test is the one part of the course that happens at a government facility, and Gangnam has its own driver's licence examination centre. It is also the busiest in Seoul, so go mid-week and mid-morning rather than on a Monday.
You are not restricted to it. If your week makes a different centre easier, Gangseo, Dobong and Seobu all run the written test in English too.

How do I get to your driving school from Gangnam?
Two routes take about the same time. Line 2 from Gangnam to Sadang, Line 4 south to Geumjeong, then Line 1 to Gwanak Station. Or Line 2 to Sindorim and Line 1 from there. Either way it is Exit 1 and a five-minute walk, and the whole trip is roughly an hour.
Which Line 1 direction do I need for Gwanak Station?
South of Guro, Line 1 splits toward Incheon and toward Cheonan. Gwanak is on the Cheonan branch, so take a train marked for Cheonan, Sinchang or Seodongtan. An Incheon-bound train will not stop there.
